What will the future be like in terms of media? Will Google buy Microsoft, just like it bought YouTube several weeks ago, or is Apple going to merge with Google? Robin Sloan and Matt Thompson made a Flash animation for the Museum of Media History, wherein they predict the future of world media in the year of 2015. The first version was actually from 2014 but they updated it a little later. I found this on the net about half a year ago. It is about 10-15 minutes long (I have not seen it in a while) and incredibly thought-provoking. What will come of us? Are printed newspapers dying out? How secure is our privacy? But see for yourself and let me know what you think.
